Yacht Master Ref.116622

Reference 116622 is a second generation Yacht-Master Rhodium manufactured from 2012 to 2019.
Continuing from the previous model, the Rolesium, a combination of platinum and stainless steel, uses 950 platinum for the bezel and dial, and 904L stainless steel for the case and bracelet. The platinum bezel is sandblasted except for the numerals.
At the beginning of its release, the dial was available in two colors, silver and blue, but in 2016, it increased to three colors, dark Rhodium (slate gray). The silver and blue dials have a slightly different impression because the second hand and model name logo are red, while the dark Rhodium is blue. In 2017, only silver was discontinued.

Yacht-Master is made for marine sports such as sailing, and has a functional bi-rotating bezel that can quickly measure the sailing time between two buoys. It is waterproof to 100m and uses a triple lock crown developed for divers models. It also has a date function and a 2.5x Cyclops lens.

Equipped with movement Cal.3135 similar to Ref.16622, but equipped with higher performance Cal.3135 using Blue Parachrom hairspring. The bezel design hasn't changed, but has been improved to allow for more precise rotation.
The bracelet features an easy ring with 5mm extension and a short flush fit that is shorter than the lugs. Because the luminous paint was changed from Super-LumiNova to Chromalight, Rolex's original product, the amount of light emitted was about doubled, changing from green light to blue light for a maximum of 8 hours.
