About reference 14000
“Air-King 14000
What is Reference 14000?
Ref.14000 is a 5-digit reference air king manufactured from around 1990 to 2000 following Air-King. At that time, it was not certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), and there is no "CHRONOMETER CERTIFIED" inscription above the 6 o'clock dial. There is a print of "PRECISION" at the bottom center of the dial of the Air-King, which means "accurate". The material of the case and bracelet is stainless steel, and the bezel is a polished bezel with a simple design. With a size of 34 mm, it was positioned as a Unisex entry model that was easy to use for both men and women. The dial has many color variations such as pink, blue, and silver, and there are many designs such as 369 Arabic indexes and bar indexes. Above all, the gray dial has a short production period and is highly rare. The difference from the previous model Ref.5500 is that the movement has been changed from Cal.1520 to Cal.3000, which has a higher beat, and the Crystal has been changed from plastic to sapphire crystal. The hour and minute hands have been changed from a pencil type to a bar type, giving a flat impression.

Difference between Ref.14000 and Ref.14000M
The movement was changed from Cal.3000, which was a single bridge that supported the balance with one bridge, to Cal.3130, which was a double bridge that supported the balance with two, and the alphabet M was written after the reference number. The horizontal hole that connects the watch and the bracelet next to the case is closed, and the crown mark is watermarked at the 6 o'clock position of the Crystal.
