Cartier

Cartier has a strong image of items such as jewelry, wallets and necklaces, but they are also a pioneer in the wristwatch industry.

In the days when watches were just pocket watches, Cartier developed a wristwatch with a square dial. Designed for an aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, this Santos model is considered to be the world's first wristwatch. Then in 1919, Cartier announced the "Tank," which was inspired by the continuous track of tanks that were active in World War I. Both Santos and Tank are the representative collections of Cartier that continue to this day.

Despite being a jewelry brand, Cartier watches have a simple and stylish design that you won't get tired of. Not only the design but also their practicality is appealing.

Initially they used general-purpose movements, but they started developing their own movement to improve functionality. In 2010, they announced "Calibre de Cartier" equipped with the first Automatic winding movement made in-house. Since then, they continue to develop models with excellent functionality, such as chronographs or excellent magnetic resistance, making use of their high technological capabilities.
It can be said that the high practicality backed by technical capabilities, is also the reason why Cartier is widely supported regardless of gender.

Cartier has released many masterpieces of Ladies watches such as "Pasha" and "Ballon Bleu", in addition to the iconic models "Tank" and "Santos". In recent years, they have been actively releasing new models including men's, and their lineup are becoming even more diverse.

In 2010, the first men's watch collection "Calibre de Cartier" was born. Among them, the diver's watch "Calibre Diver", which was announced in 2014 and boasts a sporty atmosphere and a waterproof performance of 300m, attracted a lot of attention.
