The Datejust is an innovative Rolex model introduced in 1945, and the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch to display the date at the 3 o'clock position on the dial. It is characterized by "easy-to-understand" designs such as a fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet, Rolesor, and Cyclops lens, and can be said to be Rolex's signature model. Models manufactured in the 1980s and 1990s are also popular in the Japanese Used market, and with their timeless design, they remain a popular model with overwhelming support even today.
Jubilee bracelet: This bracelet was designed for the Datejust to celebrate Rolex's 40th anniversary in 1945. It has a five-link structure and is an important element that enhances the watch's appeal. The bracelet is equipped with a folding crown clasp or Oyster clasp, which provides comfort and durability.
Oyster bracelet: Developed in the late 1930s, the Oyster bracelet is an iconic Rolex design with a three-row link structure and features a simple yet elegant design. Due to its high durability and comfortable fit, this bracelet is now standard on almost all collections except for the Day-Date.
The President bracelet: Introduced in 1956 to coincide with the Day-Date, this bracelet is a Rolex masterpiece. Primarily used on gold and platinum Day-Date and Datejust models, it features a triple-link construction and a discreet crown clasp, plus a patented ceramic insert for added flexibility and durability.
