スカイドゥエラーの大きな特徴のひとつは、ヨットマスターⅡで開発した技術を応用した、リングコマンドベゼルと呼ばれる機構です。回転式のベゼルを操作するだけで、年次カレンダーやGMT機構による第2時間帯表示、時間の調節などを簡単に行えます。設定が煩雑で難しいとされる複雑機構の腕時計ですが、リングコマンドベゼルの採用によって、スカイドゥエラーの操作性は大きく高まりました。
また、文字盤にある12個の数字インデックスの外周側に設けられた、月を表示する小窓も特徴的です。当月の小窓を別の色にすることで、「今は何月なのか」を視覚的に把握しやすくなっています。

複雑機構の腕時計には、日常生活において使用頻度の高くない機能が搭載されていることも多いです。多機能な分表示する窓も多くなり、視認性が低くなりやすいという特徴があります。
しかし、スカイドゥエラーは、GMT機構やカレンダー機構などに使用する文字盤上の窓の数が最小限に抑えられています。各設定はリングコマンドベゼルの回転で操作するので、文字盤を邪魔することもありません。複雑機構を有する他の腕時計に比べて視認性が高く、時計本来の目的である「時間の確認しやすさ」に優れているのも、スカイドゥエラーの魅力といえるでしょう。

Although it is a sports type, it has an elegant design with a sense of luxury, and it is a model that is particular about appearance in addition to technology.
