From its birth to the 1990s, Carrera was by no means a popular TAG Heuer model. However, the change in design to the modern style in the 2000s led to a leap forward to become a representative collection of TAG Heuer.
In 2002, we announced the world's first mechanical chronograph that can measure and display in 1/100 second units. Since then, the TAG Heuer innovative movement has continued to be used in the Carrera collection. Carrera, which continues to meet the high demands of the world's top drivers, can now be said to be the flagship model that symbolizes the brand both in name and reality.

Inspired by the motorsport scene, Carrera has pursued simplicity by eliminating extra elements so that it can be read accurately even during intense races. The dial and index, designed to embody that ideal, boast high visibility.
