Omega Speedmaster Professional 4th 105.012-65 Black Men's Watch [Used] [Wristwatch]

This model appeared around 1963 as the fourth generation of the Speedmaster. It was the first to feature an asymmetrical case with a crown guard, and was the first to be officially adopted by NASA, with the word "PROFESSIONAL" added to the dial.
It is said that the watch used by NASA on Apollo 11 was this fourth-generation Speedmaster equipped with Cal. 321.

Staff comments

This is the last generation to be equipped with the classic Cal. 321, and was the first to adopt the case shape that is still used today. It is also the fourth-generation Speedmaster that is said to have actually been used in NASA's Apollo program. This particular watch is thought to have been manufactured around 1966.
The bezel and crown appear to have been replaced with later models, but the rest of the watch retains the rare design unique to the fourth generation.
The bracelet is a rare Ref. 7912/ FF 16 with a protruding Omega mark, and the year code is '64, No. 4.
There is little stretch or distortion, and plenty of length remains.

Case Although there are traces of previous polishing, the original shape remains, including the lug shape that gets thicker towards the tip.
