Sea-Dweller Ref.116600

Ref.116600 is a follow-on model of Ref.16600 and is the 4th generation Sea-Dweller manufactured only for three years from 2014 to 2017. It appeared under the name of Sea-Dweller 4000 (Seed 4000) about 6 years after the previous model Ref.16600, which was discontinued with the appearance of Deepsea Ref. It is the last model without a Cyclops lens, and it is adopted from Cyclops from the subsequent Ref.126600. The sapphire crystal Crystal supports the world's highest waterproof performance of 1220m, and it is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and an escape valve that automatically discharges helium gas to the outside.

The changes from the previous model Ref.16600 include a thicker case, larger crown guards and lugs, and larger indexes and hands. A roulette stamp was added, a crown mark was added to the dial at the 12 o'clock position, and a serial number was entered at the 6 o'clock position.
The luminous paint has been changed from Superluminova to Chromalight, a Rolex proprietary product, and the amount of light emitted is about doubled for up to 8 hours, from green light to blue light.
The aluminum alloy bezel has been replaced with Rolex's original patented Cerachrom bezel, which is resistant to scratches and deterioration over time, and the bezel has a 60-minute scale.

Rolex sports models have been introduced with Mirror-finished inner clasp since around 2015, but Ref.116600 has a small number of Mirror-finished inner clasp and is extremely rare.
