Yacht Master II Ref.116681

Reference 116681 is an 18K Everose gold and 904L stainless steel Rolesor (Combi) specification Yacht-Master II manufactured since 2011. The Everose gold and stainless steel Rolesor is the first Rolex sports model.
Everose gold is an 18K pink gold originally developed and patented by Rolex that is highly resistant to discoloration over time and is used for the case and bracelet. The bezel uses Cerachrom, which Rolex independently developed and acquired as a patent, and is resistant to aging, and the dial is all white.

As a minor change in 2013, the movement was changed from Cal.4160 to Cal.4161 with an improved countdown function, but in 2017 the design of the dial and hour hand was changed significantly.
The hour hand has changed from a steel baton type to an 18K white gold Benz hand, and the coating has been changed from blue to metallic Rhodium.
The hour markers, which were all square, now have an inverted triangle at 12 o'clock and a rectangle at 6 o'clock. It has become a minor change that further enhances sportiness and unity.

The Yacht-Master II is a Rolex sports model made for yacht racing and is equipped with the world's only chronograph equipped with a mechanical memory.
Rolex's patented technology called Ring Command Bezel links the movement and the bezel, allowing programming of the countdown function and counting down from up to 10 minutes.
