Explorer II Ref.216570

Ref.216570 is the 4th generation and current model Explorer II manufactured since 2011.
It has undergone a major model change on the 40th anniversary of the birth of the Explorer II. The dial color is available in two colors, a black dial and a white dial.

While the case size of Ref.16570 was 40mm, the case size of Ref.216570 was increased by 2mm to 42mm. The thickness has also increased by 0.5mm to 12.5mm.
The hands and indexes are also larger to improve visibility. The feature is that the crown has also been enlarged to 7 mm and has become larger overall.
The movement has been changed from Cal.3185 to Cal.3187, which uses Rolex's proprietary blue Parachrom balance spring.

Like the original Explorer II, the black dial has the center of the hands painted in the same color as the dial.
