Omega Speedmaster x Snoopy collaboration special

The rare "Speedmaster Snoopy Award" model is limited to 5,441 pieces.
The Speedmaster was originally developed as a watch for technical jobs and racing, but NASA discovered its unexpected potential and officially adopted it. Since then, it has been used in all manned flight missions and continues to meet NASA's expectations.
In 1970, Apollo 13 exploded on the way to the moon, causing serious damage to the spacecraft's systems. This accident forced the crew to abandon the moon landing and face a dangerous situation to survive. Under this critical situation, the crew of Apollo 13 tried to manually control the spacecraft's systems and return to Earth. Since the instruments were damaged, precise timing was required. At this point, Apollo 13 commander Jim Rabble used his Speedmaster chronograph to measure the precise combustion time of 14 seconds. This measurement was successful, and the crew was able to correct their trajectory to return to Earth, and they were finally able to return safely. This episode became a milestone in watch history as a key moment that proved the reliability and accuracy of the Speedmaster. Later, Omega released special editions such as the "Speedmaster Professional Apollo 13" to commemorate this achievement. The 3578.51 is a rare model that was sold in 2003 with a limited edition of 5,441 pieces worldwide.
