Daytona Ref.116506 / 116506A

Ref.116506 is the first platinum model in the history of Daytona, created as a model to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Cosmograph Daytona. In 2014, 116506A was released with a design with diamonds on the index.
Because platinum is used for the case, it is heavier than the stainless steel Daytona, giving it a dignified and luxurious feel.

The ice blue dial is only used in the high-end models of Cosmograph Daytona and Day-Date, and it exists only in Ref.116506 and Ref.116506A among Daytonas. Used by many athletes and celebrities.

In addition to a tachymeter that can measure up to 400 miles per hour or average speed, Rolex's proprietary Cerachrom material is highly resistant to corrosion and scratches. The chestnut brown (chestnut color) goes well with the ice blue dial.
