The origin of the name is a combination of "Mill" which means 1,000 in French and "Gauss" which is a unit of magnetic flux density, and as the name suggests, it boasts a magnetic resistance of 1,000 gauss. There are multiple models of Milgauss, but Ref.6541 with extremely low distribution volume is a premium model that represents Rolex.
